Immigration Alert

Akon is bringing his ass to television...here he talks about it in a recently released statement

"Whenever I’m not in Atlanta, they go out posing as me and everyone believes it’s actually me. It’s so crazy, because everyone seriously believes it’s me. They are going around getting VIP treatment, girls, free food at restaurants, free everything and everybody is falling for it. It’s a real life thing, which has got really out of hand in Atlanta, so I decided to take the situation and make it into my advantage by making a reality TV show out of it. They get my life, all the perks without having to put in all the hard work I do. I’m constantly working so I can’t live it, but they are out there living it."

Im just hoping they caught his ass hop that damn border..itll be funny to see his ass dodging them bullets lmao i can just see it know his black ass running from tha border control lmao!

Jealous!

I don't usualy admit jealousy like this but Zoe Kravitz is like the only person I'm jealous of other then...umm...Maddox-Jolie Pitt!

Both her parents are hott...so naturally...

Well Zoe discusses how she's prejudged

"It's an easy diss when people don't want to like me and want to say that I'm a brat," the 18-year-old beauty said in the new issue of Trace magazine. "You have people who only want to be your friend because of that, or you have those who say, 'Oh, Zoe thinks she is so cool cause her dad is...'"

Of course what she says is tru...but so what...she can't say she isn't previliged...all n all i like her...and I don't think she'll let acting take her in the wrong direction a la Lindsay Lohan.

This is def a chick we need to be watching out for...

fifty needs to SHUTUP!

How'd I miss this one?!?

"I don't have a problem with him. I don't think he has a problem with me. It's 50. 50 does what 50 does. You gotta love him for it. There will be no 50 disses from Trina. I'm so positive. I don't get into the negative because it takes away from my swagger, and I'm not benefiting from that. I'm not getting a check from that"

Trina on Smitty cent comments about her cheating on lil wayne with Lloyd Banks.

Well I'll put it like this...If trina cheated...so what?!...its Lil Wayne...she might as well get her life too...and as far as I'm concerned all those diseases might as well spread to the gunit camp LMAO.

Basically I don't like 50 and I hope Kanye beats his ass on Sept 11th!

I don't mind so much...

So study after study after study have determined a definite increase in interracial relationships...the majority rise in black women and white men.

Article from Associated Press:
"They're taking cues from their favorite stars _ from actress Shar Jackson to tennis pro Venus Williams _ as well as support blogs, how-to books and interracially themed novels telling them it's OK to "date out.""

Yea I see it more often and I always wondered if white boys actually are looking at black women like that. A good friend of mines is happily involved with a fine white boy and I love them together...so I guess it happens more often.

Anywayz...the real point of this post is because I think I'm destined to marry white...Two days ago at Play Lounge in Washington, D.C I met David Beckham...U kno...that white cutie soccor player...Anywayz I got to shake hands with him and like..WHO DOES THAT HAPPEN TO?!?
and I've already met Bill Clinton...the two white boi team leaders and the only celebrities/politicians I ever really met....

ahh Discuss

Scary Spice on Larry King

So Scary Spice, aka Mel Brown was on Larry King Live last night. Sadly I missed it but tmz.com has a clip of it. During the interview Larry King is persistent to ask her about whether or not she asked Eddie for a nine million dollar house. Luckily, Scary dodged that question with her lawyer.

But the question I wanna know is how did the Spice Girls become relevant again? All of a sudden Scary Spice is allover the internet, and Posh is on TV. I wasn't even thinkin about the Spice Girls this time last year and then all of a sudden I have a hankering for some of their old school classics. I feel like I'm back in 5th grade.

Awww

This story just makes me say, "Awwww" For those that don't know Tia Mowry, who stars in the sitcom "The Game," is engaged to be married to Cory Hardricht (pictured). A recent article details her wedding theme of butterflies and her pink and purple color theme. How precious. Sounds like a fairytale wedding to me.

But guess who will be the maid of honor......Her twin sister Tamera whom she costarred with in the sitcom "Sister, Sister" the show of my youth. Nostalgia at its best.
Tia who became engaged Christmas Day plans to wed March of next year.

50 Cent Talkin' Shh-stuff

50 cent recently has been talking out the side of his mouth lately about Lil' Wayne and Kanye West.

Apparently, 50 cent gets a little perturbed when you ask him about Lil' Wayne. He doesn't think Lil' Wayne is on his level. Click here to see video of 50 dismissing Wayne as a rapper. First, speaking as a formerly obsessed fan of Wayne's from back in the day, I'm going to have to agree with MTV that Wayne is the hottest rapper in the game as of now. Second, Wayne has been out for seven plus years and is still relevant and he has youth on his side. 50 peaked when he came out and has been going down since.

50 also had the audacity to say that if Kanye sold more records than him he would stop making solo records. That sounds like a good reason for me to buy Kanye's album next month. This little drama has me good and ready for that Sept. release date, but I know that is just what 50 wants. He's probably the biggest publicity slut in hip hop.

I'm bout to write a damn book...

DRAMA!!

So Jonathan Plummer ( ex-husband of Terry McMillan....Yes U know her "How Stella Got her Groove Back") somehow landed a book deal with no real originality but Hey...its America...Land of Oppurtunites....and Backstabbing Tell Alls to Profit from.

So his book is about a Jamaican Man who comes across a wealthy American Woman and she brings him back to the States where then..and ONLY then he starts having feelings for a male model.

They say its fiction but it sounds like a tell-all to me...I remember see'n him and Terry on Oprah and from what it sounded like...he always knew he was gay and played her because she had money and he wanted to get out of Jamaica!

But what do I know...

She Bounced Back

Scary Spice bounced back quick. Apparently, Mel B. married her beau Stephen Belafonte (pictured) back in June on the low. During all this Eddie Murphy/baby daddy business she found the time to get hitched. Interesting. I don't blame Eddie Murphy obviously he bounces back quick too since he's engaged to Tracey Edmonds. People in Hollywood don't waste anytime.

Angie Stone Talking

For everybody wondering how Angie Stone pulled D'Angelo back in the day, Angie talks about her relationship with D'Angelo over at essence.com.

Essence.com: Would this younger guy happen to be D’Angelo? Your relationship with him received a lot of public scrutiny.

A.S.: No, I wasn't referring to D'Angelo. But you know what, the criticism that D’Angelo and I received about our relationship only began once he became successful. What people didn’t realize was that before he became successful there was Angie Stone from the group Vertical Hold—a strong beautiful sister who dated somebody who had not even crossed the threshold of the industry yet. When I was dating him he wore glasses, had short hair and his pants were hanging down to his butt. He was just a 19-year-old kid with big shorts and nobody cared and no one saw his beauty but me. And I told him, “You are beautiful. I promise you when your record drops your lips are gonna become famous, your eyes—everything will become famous. But he couldn’t see it because his self-esteem wasn’t where it is today. He didn’t even have an image and his hair was really short so I braided his hair with thread for his first album cover. It wasn’t until Brown Sugar came out that people actually took a good look at him and said, “You know what? He’s fine.” Then all of a sudden, he’s so fine he shouldn’t be with me.

I felt kinda bad reading this cause I'm somewhat guilty saying that too. But you have to admit D'Angelo was fine back in the day.

Diddy's Leaving it Up to Us

Y'all don't know how blown I was to find out that Diddy was not going to make the band on that Monday night. I had been anticipating that episode all week. I was bouncing off the walls waiting for him to make his decision. And then he says, I have to wait another three weeks. JAM. Anyways at least I get to vote a little bit on who will be in the band. My vote could possibly sway Diddy to pick who I want.... And so could yours. You can vote at makingtheband.mtv.com But tell us who you think should make the band. There is a poll on the right side of the website, speak your mind. :)
