I'm bout to write a damn book...

DRAMA!!

So Jonathan Plummer ( ex-husband of Terry McMillan....Yes U know her "How Stella Got her Groove Back") somehow landed a book deal with no real originality but Hey...its America...Land of Oppurtunites....and Backstabbing Tell Alls to Profit from.

So his book is about a Jamaican Man who comes across a wealthy American Woman and she brings him back to the States where then..and ONLY then he starts having feelings for a male model.

They say its fiction but it sounds like a tell-all to me...I remember see'n him and Terry on Oprah and from what it sounded like...he always knew he was gay and played her because she had money and he wanted to get out of Jamaica!

But what do I know...

SupaHead Getting Press

Essence.com has all the good interviews nowadays. Most recently they interviewed Karrine Steffans aka Supahead. In the interview she discusses her upcoming book, male groupies, and celebrity encounters. Here's the link. Part 2 is coming tomorrow. I would put up a picture but I am atwork right now and I can't find any respectable pic of Supahead easily. Sorry.

From Song Cry to...umm Novel cry?!?

Rappers Jay Z and Nas team up once again...

This time they put there talents to contribute to a new novel written by Dr. Michael Eric Dyson on black culture of today.

Jay provided an introducation and Nas filled in his opinions throughtout the rest of the novel.

I'm curious to see what all was said and what kind of politics comes after this since black people can't take much criticism.

In local news...Dr.Dyson has recently accepted a position as a professor at Georgetown University...congratulations to him!

She's Still At It

Superhead talking about Lil’ Wayne

“I thought he was too young, and I just always thought he was ugly. That’s real talk. I thought he looked like a tree monkey…”

  • Wow. She called him a tree monkey. That's pretty harsh. But that didn't stop her from gettin with him tho.

Moreover, she goes on to talk about Ne-Yo in the new issue of King and how he likes nibbling on her toes. Some dudes never learn.... Word is she has a new book coming out in September. I will be sure to read it.
