Kanye West on VMA's

I was actually surprised that during the show 'Ye held himself together. He didn't win not one of his five nominations and I know he was contemplating burning down the place.

He supposedly lost it in an elevator behind scenes stating he would never go to another VMA show and how his single is number 1 yet Britt still gets to open the show (truuuu...)

I think he should be okay tho...he rocked the suites alll nitee and honestly that lookd more fun then anything. It was the only part of the show where I was like "damn I wish I was there."

All I'mma say is nobody got to be number one crying the whole way...be a man and shutup! Crybaby'n aint cute...anywayz you should be more concerened about tomorrow....

Actually I take that back...Kanye doesn't have anything to worry about...he will most likely be #1 and kill fifty when both their albums come out butt if you love Hip Hop I think you should buy both...like me :)

Beyonce of course was at the awards show. I do not like her dress at all. It is not figure flattering. She was probably going for the whole grecian goddess look but she just looks like a metallic teepee.




TI and his boo Tiny strolled the red carpet together.

Mel B and her hubby came through. I wonder if Eddie's child support checks have started clearing yet.




Kevin Federline's original baby mama also hit up the event. She has been the reigning queen on MTV's Celebrity Rap Superstar's but I'm probably the only person who watches that show. *hangs head in shame*

Rihanna looked cute on the red carpet.

Does Ne-Yo really wonder why people question his sexuality? He just puts himself out there as such a tender male.

This child is crying for attention. Nobody is caring about her new single G-Slide and her lip gloss is no longer poppin'.

Kanye West and fiance Alexis perused the red carpet. Remy Ma should take lessons from Alexis on how to rock a blonde bang cuz Alexis is a fly chick.

Chris Brown posed for pictures. His performance was ridiculous but he made me a believer last year at the '06 BET awards. This performance was just icing on the cake for me.

Ceelo needs to find his way back to Oompa Loompa land, cause it looks like he got lost in Dexters laboratory with that little lab coat on.

Alicia Keyes looked gorgeous with her Beau. Alicia Keyes has really came into her own since when she first debuted.




Apparently Kid Rock and Tommy Lee got into it backstage during the show. And that was the talk of the night. Hot Stuff. :)

So Disappointed

I'm so disappointed in MTV right now. Did anybody catch a glimpse of their new show "Dances from the Hood"?! I was so blown that they would come up with such nonsense. The show was like a blend of Soul Train and Rap City's Da Basement minus the black people (well maybe there were like two in the show not including the host). Mainstream media just steals black culture and tries to commodify it. Moreover the show was hella corny. At least it gave me a good laugh. Story

So I am watching the season finale of College Hill and during the commercial break I see a trailer for their new show Baldwin Hills. Wow....BET can't come up with anything original. Baldwin Hills is just a bootleg version of Laguna Beach. I'm so disappointed in Black Entertainment Television. Can that channel jack MTV anymore...shoot, 106 &Park = TRL , Access Granted = Making the Video, College Hill = Real World, Run's House = Run's House, just to name a few. J.A.M. MTV movie awards 2007 style

This year was as interesting as...well as looking at a picture of Samuel L. Jackson!

I mean seriously if you force yourself you could have a lot of fun with it.

Anywayz from what I DID see it was a whole bunch of movie plugg-ins and alllllllll about TRANSFORMERS...the new movie about...who cares...

Oh yea...Rihanna and Jay Z performed. It was Ok, she seemed nervous but did better then anything I could do So go head girl or w/e I'm supposed to say see'n as I just don't care

Jaden Smith's acceptance speech for Best Breakthrough performance was too cute... or maybe his dad is too cute....man is beautiful!
