Fall Out Boy Video

I'm sorry but this video has to be posted. Fall out boy (A rock band) went to Uganda to tell two stories, one of love and the other of kidnapped children being forced to fight. I know it came out last month but I'vee been busy. But the story line was too deep to go unnoticed. Please watch and then afterwards visit invisiblechildren.com to get more information on how you can help.

Khia is going on people

But is this chick really relevant? C'mon "My Neck, My Back" never won a Grammy or nothing. She is claiming that TI stole her lyrics/hook/song whatever. This is the same chick Trina sonned. Whether or not Wayne wrote Trina's lyrics the verse was stil hot, "What's beef?/ Beef is when your clothes look like dirty sheets/ Beef is when your titties look like they sleep."

Khia just needs to be quiet. But this video is funny.

Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Big Things

I'm obligated to at least post this story.

Tonite my hero, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, aka first female president IN AFRICA, aka President of Liberia was awarded the Bishop John T. Walker Distinguished Humanitarian Service Award.

This is big and very important to...to everyone dammit.

I know I'm a bit obsessed with International Affairs and I try not to over do it on this blog but Great things are Great things. My mother was in attendance ( and tickets were $500 or more... don't let me find out my mother is balling on the sneak tip) and she filled me in on the ceremoney.

Celebs and Politicians were in the house. Including Chris Tucker who has actually done a lot of great work for Africa and visits Liberia frequently. My other obsession Bill Cliniton has previously won this award as well as Nelson Mandela, Colin Powell, and Melinda Gates.

YOu can check out the website for more info...

P.S I just love her!

Bobby Brown 'Gone Country'

The King of R&B himself is looking to forge a country career. According to TMZ, Bobby Brown has signed onto the CMT show "Gone Country" where his career will be reinvented to suit country music. Hee-haw.

Also scheduled to be on the show is former Prince of R&B aka Mr. Thong Song......Sisqo. Yall know he's fallen on hard times. I actually have a reason to watch that CMT channel now.

We can do Better

THis is definitly one of those "DUH" research's that they do, but at least now there are studies to backup what is already known.

Rap videos do harm our black youth and researches have studied some of those effects.

Researches found young black girls who spent more time watching rap music videos were more likely to binge drink, have sex with multiple partners, test positive for marijuana and have a negative body image.

Exactly why uncutt never should've aired. I don't care how late it was. We should just bring back them 80's videos like Jay did.

Close Call

Whew...I can sleep well tonight.
Well not really because I have three more midterms...but I least I won't have anymore baby ninja dreams!

Remember when I got all throw back karate kid on you all? Well Will Smith has once again saved the day stating that this war prompting rumor was just that...a rumor.

A publicist for Will Smith says he is not planning to produce a remake of the 1984 film "The Karate Kid" with his son Jayden in the starring role, as had previously been reported.

Don't judge me because I have a special place in my heart for the classics. Other then this...Jaden can do no wrong.

~BabyD
P.S Will is set to work on two new films: "Seven Pounds" about a man who falls in love but still tries to commit suicide and "Time Share" a family comedy with Nicolas Cage
thats a hott look

Does Ne-Yo really wonder why people think he's gay?

With pictures like these he really just needs to sit back and accept the truth. He's dancing with a drag queenish looking woman while trying to make his sexy-gangsta face. Not a good look dude.

Barack to Addresss MTV Generation

Presidential candidate Barack Obama will have a forum to discuss issues sponsored by MTV and Myspace on October 29th.

Illinois Senator Barack Obama will be the next presidential candidate to participate in a MySpace/MTV dialogue when he takes the stage on October 29 at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Following on the heels of the first forum with candidate John Edwards on September 27, the Democrat will answer questions from the live audience and watch as his responses are rated in real time by users weighing in over the Internet.

The forum, which will take place at 1:30 p.m. ET, will stream live on MySpace.com, MTV's
ChooseOrLose.com and MTV Mobile, and will air at 7 p.m. ET that evening on MTV. The dialogue will be moderated by MTV News correspondents Gideon Yago and Sway Calloway, as well as WashingtonPost.com political reporter Chris Cillizza, who kept Edwards on his toes during the first forum by feeding him instant audience reaction to his responses with a polling tool supplied by Flektor.

What a face? Pt. II

Remember when Lil' Jon was the King of Crunk. What has this dude been up to since making everybody get low?

Beats me. This dude seriously needs Dave Chappelle to come back out and give him some pub, because his star has fallen.

I remember when I used to think Lil' Jon was cute. It was just something about his eyes. Have you ever seen him without is glasses. yumm..........

Just joking...I reiterate never have I ever thought in any way, shape, or form Lil Jon was cute. That was just a joke. A mean joke at that. I apologize Lil' Jon.

He was recently at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Cali. That's where this photo was taken.
